| Boadicea
is a Hanse 371 built in 2005 and we are getting to know her quite well
now. Great boat for the Med as with her powerful rig she really goes well
in light airs. Although ideal for up to 6 crew with her self-tacking jib
she can be easily handled by a couple. She has a large comfortable cockpit
for relaxing in those lazy days of summer but unusually for the Med, she
is fitted with Eberspacher forced air heating which we have found to be
very handy when sailing later in the season when the nights can get a
bit nippy.
3 double cabins, 1 heads, fully battened mainsail with lazyjacks and single
line slab reefing, roller furling headsail, electric windlass, bimini,
inflatable tender.
Named after Queen Boadicea who from AD 61 to AD 63 led her Iceni people
to a glorious but bloody war against the Romans and who remains to this
day, the greatest of the heroines of Britain. |
