We will be hosting a lunch on Tuesday 3rd of June. Our guest speaker will be Tom Cunliffe who has cruised extensively with his wife Roz and is the well-known author of many excellent sailing related books. Tom is also a regular contributor to Yachting Monthly, SAIL and Yachting World and above all, if you have not met Tom yet, he is a highly interesting and enchanting speaker.

Practical RYA Sailing Courses 2008

Fri 23rd May – Wed 28th May – group course for those wishing to take their Competent Crew or Day Skipper Practical. £300 one place only.

Thurs 29th – Tues 3rd May £1500 for a private RYA course for up to five people.

Yacht Delivery/Milebuilder

If you are available at short notice and would like to gain some general sailing experience and mileage, one of our instructors would like some help to return her boat to Europe from St. Martin. The initial goal will be the Azores and then, weather permitting Cascais just West of Lisbon. You will need to pay for and arrange your own transport to and from the boat. You should be able to keep watch and be comfortable being out of sight of land. Your skipper would be a Yachtmaster Instructor and very experience cruising yachtswoman. Please ask for more details.
